Katrina's poetry is in the first 'Loose Muse Anthology of New Writing by Women', to be launched on 29 February 2012. Her poem 'After the Reading' is featured in the current issue of 'The London Magazine' (Dec 2011/Jan 2012) and was recently featured in 'The Scotsman'.
Her first collection 'The Girl with the Cactus Handshake' is reviewed in the current issue of 'The North' (No. 48) alongside Matthew Sweeney's and A.F. Harrold's latest. Click on the Reviews section to see more. She also has poetry in the current issue of 'Poetry Salzburg Review' (No 20).

Katrina is interviewed by Louise Tondeur for National Poetry Month on whether there's such a thing as 'working class poetry', click here here to read the article. An interview with Reel Rebels Radio is also currently live, alongside the writers Miriam Halouhmy and Agnes Meadows. And Katrina recently presented a paper 'Violence in Poetry: Beyond Gentility' at Goldsmiths.
Her work is included in a new poetry anthology 'KJV: Old Text, New Poetry', which features Penelope Shttle, Ian Duhig and Clare Pollard, among others. Click here to read a review.
Katrina's poetry is also in the poetry anthology 'Soul Feathers', which is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. It includes poetry by Carol Ann Duffy, Seamus Heaney, Maya Angelou, Sharon Olds and Benjamin Zephaniah.
Katrina was recently the featured poet on Abegail Morley's blog and her poem 'Mary (& Me)' shared the Xmas day poetry slot with Jacqueline Saphra for Ink Sweat & Tears 12 Days of Christmas. She won second prize in the 2011 Inscribing the Island Poetry Competition and was commended in the Poetry Society's 2011 Stanza Competition.
A specially-commissioned poetry DVD for Oxfam, 'Asking a Shadow to Dance: 35 Young British Poets for Oxfam' features Katrina's poetry and is available from Oxfam Bookshops and ebay, price £12.99.
Katrina enjoys collaborating with visual artists and has had poetry exhibited as part of the Accident & Emergence collective in London, had poetry commissioned by Hartlepool Art Gallery, had a one-woman exhibition at the Bronte Parsonage Museum in 2010, and collaborated with musicians for her poetry to be included in an operatic song cycle at London's Festival Hall.
She teaches creative writing for the Open University and poetry at Goldsmiths. Katrina is a creative writing PhD student at Goldsmiths, pursuing research on the theme of violence in the poetry of Pascale Petit, Sharon Olds, Peter Redgrove and Robin Robertson.

Katrina's first play 'The Water Skiing Diaries' was given a rehearsed reading in London as part of the Goldsmiths Plays season in 2011, and she recently had a poem performed by the Iris Theatre Company in Covent Garden for it 'Dramatic Verse' night.
