Katrina was recently commissioned by the Newlyn Society of Artists to write a poem in response to the NSA’s latest show.
Katrina is pictured here drafting her poem. You can hear Katrina’s commissioned poem, ‘Rita’, Rita by Katrina Naomi audio as performed at the Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens near Penzance, Cornwall.
Katrina wrote ‘Rita’ in response to a painting by NSA artist, Ian Brown. She said that she chose the painting because she found it ‘provocative’.
