Katrina Naomi joins Society of Authors poetry committee

The Society of Authors has invited Katrina Naomi to join its Poetry and Spoken Word Group committee.

The Society of Author’s Poetry and Spoken Word Group (PSWG) is chaired by Tamar Yoseloff. It is a professional community for poets and spoken word artists. The group discusses issues affecting poets and the spoken word community, offers advice and support, and helps to raise the profile of poetry and performance.

Katrina says: ‘I was delighted to be asked to join the Society of Authors’ poetry committee. This feels like a real honour. I’ve really benefited from the Society of Author’s work on behalf of poets, so I’m looking forward to contributing wherever I can.’

She will begin by attending the AGM in London at the end of January 2019, along with the other new committee member, Menna Elfyn.
