Katrina’s lockdown poem, ‘That Small Joy’, is part of the WRITE Where We Are NOW project, curated by Carol Ann Duffy. Katrina wrote her poem on 27 March 2020 at her home in Penzance.
The project went live on 20 April 2020, after appearing in The Guardian newspaper that morning. The idea of WRITE Where We Are NOW is to ‘offer reflection and inspiration in these challenging times, as well as creating a living record of what is happening as seen through poets’ eyes’. Katrina’s new collection, Wild Persistence, will be published by Seren in June 2020.
