Penzance Poetry Parlour for 2018

Penzance Poetry Parlour for 2018 is looking better than ever. Katrina will be hosting three nights of top quality poetry this year. Dates and poets for 2018:

Kim Moore
Helen Mort
Samantha Wynne-Rhydderch
Pascale Petit
Alyson Hallett
Angela Stoner

Sun 8 April – Kim Moore and Helen Mort

Tue 26 June – Samantha Wynne-Rhydderch and Angela Stoner

Thurs 27 Sept – Pascale Petit and Alyson Hallet

Penzance Poetry Parlour works like this. Doors open at 7 pm, readings start at 7.30. Donations on the door, minimum of £6 please – if you can afford more then Katrina can pay the poets more.

As well as a reading by both poets, there’s a Q&A, plus cava and popcorn.

There’s no pre-booking, it’s always busy, so first come, first served. And if you can’t get there til 7.30, bring a cushion to sit on, in case there’s no chairs left.

Address: 40 St James Street, Penzance, Cornwall/Kernow TR18 2BU. An easy 8 minutes walk from Penzance rail/bus station.
