Sustaining a poem workshop – Falmouth

Katrina NaomiKatrina is running a poetry workshop in Falmouth, Cornwall, on Saturday 15 July.

The workshop, ‘Sustaining a Poem’, will help anyone who’d like to develop their ideas beyond the initial spark and to write longer poems.

The workshop, hosted by Falmouth Poetry Group (FPG), will be held at the Council Chambers above Falmouth Library, The Moor, Falmouth, Cornwall TR11 3QA on Saturday 15 July, from 10 am to 1 pm. There are a few places still available.

The workshop costs £12 for FPG members and £15 for non-members. To book, please email Gary Matthews, chair of FPG at

Katrina has a PhD in creative writing from Goldsmiths. She is a freelance tutor for Arvon, the Poetry School and the Poetry Society. Her most recent collection is The Way the Crocodile Taught Me, (Seren, 2016)

    I would be very interested in this workshop but sadly I can’t get to Falmouth by 10am from North Devon and it’s tricky for me to travel the night before at the moment. Will you be running this workshop anywhere else?
