Versions of Yasuaki Inoue haiku in Modern Poetry in Translation

Katrina’s versions of Yasuaki Inoue’s haiku are in Modern Poetry in Translation.

She translated these five poems during an Arts Council- funded trip to Japan, and is grateful to Professor Michiyo Takano of Yamanashi Prefectural University for her literal translations.

Yasuaki Inoue is editor of Kakko (Cuckoo) haiku society and journal in Japan.

In 2019, Katrina will be publishing, Typhoon Etiquette, a pamphlet of Japan-themed poems with Verve Poetry Press.
