Katrina runs workshops and residential courses for Arvon, the Poetry School and Ty Newydd. Her workshops are always popular. A participant recently wrote: ‘I enjoyed that. I feel reckless now.’

‘Katrina’s workshops can be challenging. She is a bold leader, assertive but sympathetic. She opens doors to unexplored rooms, shines a ruthless spotlight on lines you’ve always left cowering in dark corners. Katrina lights fuses – fireworks should be expected’ (from Teignnmouth Poetry Festival).

Katrina also runs Poetry Surgeries for the Poetry Society the next date is Mon 16 July via skype and in person

Katrina’s kind and incisive eye helped me to clarify ways forward with my writing – she is generous with her experience and knowledge. Showing her my poems and listening to her feedback was a great step for me towards thinking of myself as a poet.

Katrina has been mentoring me since June last year. She has close read poems for me and her suggestions are always pertinent. Katrina has also made suggestions on the ordering of poems for a pamphlet collection, which has now been accepted for publication by Red Squirrel Press. She is very good at suggesting magazines which may like poems.
