Katrina’s Battery Rocks has been shortlisted for a Holyer an Gof award. The prize ceremony is on 5 July.

Battery Rocks is ‘a meditation on nature, risk, swimming & the sea’ and was published by Seren in 2024. Battery Rocks has received an Arthur Welton Award from the Society of Authors, been recommended in The Guardian, and featured in Radio 4’s Open Country. It has also been book of the month on Poetry Extra (BBC Radio 4 Extra).

Holyer an Gof is Cornwall’s literary prize.
