Katrina holds a PhD in creative writing from Goldsmiths and has received several awards for her writing.
In addition to teaching for Arvon and Ty Newydd and mentoring for the Poetry Society, she teaches for the Poetry School.
Katrina has previously taught at Goldsmiths and Falmouth University. She runs courses, workshops and one-to-one sessions via zoom and in person.

Many of Katrina’s mentees have gone on to find publishers for their pamphlets and collections; some of these collections have been internationally recognised, winning major prizes.
Katrina is a member of the National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE), the Poetry Society and is chair of the Society of Author’s Poetry & Spoken Word Committee.
She has a valid CRB certificate and public liability insurance.
