Katrina holds a PhD in creative writing from Goldsmiths and has received several awards for her writing.
In addition to teaching for Arvon and mentoring for the Poetry Society, she teaches for the Poetry School. She has previously taught at Goldsmiths and Falmouth University.

Katrina also runs Poetry Surgeries for the Poetry Society via skype and face-to-face. The next date is 16 March in Penzance at 10.30 am and 11.30 am.
The Personal and the Political
Katrina’s next residential course is at Ty Newydd in August 2019.
She is teaching The Personal and the Political with Deryn Rees-Jones, and Mona Arshi will be guest tutor.
In November 2019, Katrina is running a tutored retreat, Developing Strengths and Finding New Avenues with Fiona Benson, and with Richard Scott as guest. The course is at Arvon’s Totleigh Barton in Devon.
